After 20 years of performing Led Zeppelin songs through various band projects, Donna Greene was finally convinced to bring Lady Zeppelin to life after the response to her performance of Rock'n'Roll at the Music Industry Reunion Club concert in 2008 with Guitar Gods, John Meyer, Jamie Page and Graham Greene.

Picked from the cream of local rock musicians, all seasoned professionals, Lady Zeppelin was introduced to the Perth music scene at Guitar Gods IV on January 29th 2011.  The direct feedback since has been nothing short of awe inspiring.  "This is just what Perth needs - A great band playing great songs well."

"Headliners Lady Zeppelin, featuring guitar wizard Graham Greene and vocalist wife Donna Greene, rode the stage hard and left it gasping for more from openers ‘Immigrant Song’ and a sublime ‘Misty Mountain Hop’, through a set of Led Zeppelin killers, culminating in the debut of the band’s “Lady Zeppelin Rock Show” with an explosive riff on Heart’s wonderful ‘Barracuda’.

Graham Greene has found the room in these songs to make his style evident and his guitar work sings, breathing even more life into this music that can never die.

Donna Greene, meanwhile, wields her microphone like a wand, assertive and self-assured, she too inhabits these classics like she’s wearing a favourite outfit, living and breathing inside them utterly convincingly.

But don’t make the mistake in thinking that the magic being woven onstage emanates only from this husband and wife team – drummer Shane Brady, bassist Jim Awram and keyboardist Jason Dohrmann are all at the top of their game and none of the players on stage tonight miss a trick. Singing and playing this music radiating the spirit with which it was written. Aural ambrosia. Could have listened for hours.

.. the Lady Zep show really is one of the most musically accurate and proficient shows I've seen in a long time. I have to say Donna's vocal alone nailed every song, they were a joy to listen to. I came back in to the office on the Monday raving about how good this show was.
Really if the music industry and music lovers can't see the professionalism and value in the Lady Zep show the industry is doomed!
